The covid pandemic

Since the last year we are in a global pandemic caused by the covid-19, a virus that generated in Wuhan, China and has expanded arround the world. This situation has caused a lot of changes and problems in our life. A lot of people have lost their jobs and their economic situation has worsened geeting poorer and having problems for pay his debts. Another problem is the mental health of the people, the pandemic increase the cases of depression, anxiety or stress for multiple reason like the economic situation, the studies or the job. Also the pandemic has obviously caused health problems with the collapsed hospitals and a hight numbers of contagion.

Some changes that a lot of people had to make was the adaptation to the tecnology, too much thing today requires be connected in platforms like zoom or skype that used in computers or cellphones. We need to get used to confinement by the long quarintines, someones makes new hobbies others learns new things like cooking or makes exercise. Other change is the increase in the social platforms like discord, instagram or whatsapp to maintain the communication with older and new friends in the new online modality in jobs and studies.

The life after the pandemic will be rare, in my case I never met people of my carrer because the online modality makes hard talk to the people so it will be like my first year in university knowing new people although that we are in second year already. We also going to gradually abandon the online modality that will change the way that we live these two years in a pandemic, bringing back the old ways to socializing with people but perhaps the use of social platforms was not abandoned and will be use for  interwiews, comuniccation over long distances or telecommuting in some jobs. However no one knows what will happen after the pandemic.
